David Malinowski

Vice Chairman

Mr. Malinowski is the Finance Director for the City of Mentor and manages the city’s finance department. He has served the City of Mentor for 25 years. The finance department is responsible for financial reporting, administration of the insurance program, budget preparation, revenue collections, accounts payable, payroll, treasury and investment management, income tax collections, and debt management.

Mr. Malinowski obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Cleveland State University. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College, and is also a Certified Public Accountant. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the LCE Federal Credit Union, and is a member of several professional organizations.

Mr. Malinowski is an active member of his church and has volunteered over many years as a youth leader, children’s service teacher, and treasurer. He enjoys spending time with his wife Christina and their two children and three grandchildren. He also enjoys traveling, hiking, golf, and competitive darts.
